Biking in -33c !!! how far your love for riding can go.....

Image
Morning commute in Calgary at -33c For many people this will be impossible.. for others you just dress up to the weather you have :--) Living in Calgary since 2006 has taught me to appreciate every season and with that, what every season has to offer. Winter is particularly beautiful, the air, the smell, the snow, the ski..  and honesty, winter is not that long, eventually the day starts to get lighter and longer, the sun starts to come out earlier and warmer, you just have to keep looking forward to a warmer day. I love riding my bike, road, mountain, fatbike. It gives me time to think, to meditate somehow and reflect, it is my own space.

Bridge Buster Fort Pierce Florida, 5km running race 2020

Another year running the 5k in Florida with my wife, although I was 30 seconds slower than the previous year I managed to get 2nd overall and 1st in the Masters !! Weather conditions were acceptable, but the legs weren't there to keep a 3:43 min pace as planned.. Maria had a great time even though she was slower than previous year too. This is a very nice in Fort Pierce, the up and down bridge over pass is a killer if you are looking for a PB, but beautiful scenery and drive on the cost makes this race a good one.
