Picklejar Lakes with Nick and Lucas for a night
One more camping trip with Lucas and Nick before winter !! it was a beautiful afternoon in September and didn't want to waste it. Lucas decided to join us in the backpacking adventure and carrying his own backpack was able to hike 4.3 kms up to Picklejar Lakes. We had the lakes to ourselves and lucky enough found a spot by the first lake with some left over logs to get our fire pit going.. Next day (after a well deserve sleep-in) decided to hike around the 4 lakes and enjoy a beautiful morning before our trek down. The view from our tent Hiking in we took a few breaks, had some snacks and took our time going up. Picklejar lakes is an easy hike, all the way up but, nothing crazy or steep for the first 3kms, the last km is quite a hike and specially for Lucas with a fairly big backpack. Lucas Almost at the top Snoopy was our guest this time, and after ensuring he was all in his blanket we all had a warm sleep in our comfy tent. Super Time ! NEVER BRUSH YOUR TEETH ON A CLEAN LAKE !!...
