Forum Ridge to Cameron Lake, Waterton
First time skiing in Waterton ! great day, cold but amazing.. No wind and on the sun all day long. Headed out with Andy as usual at 6:00am and were skiing by 9:00. Beautiful drive that I will never get bored.. We parked at Akanima Road just a few kms before Cameron Lake, from there we ski the Cameron Lake and started to climb to the right and onto the top of Forum Ridge. Nice 600mts vertical run towards the Lake, the snow was great with good stability. A bit of ice under a 30cms of fresh snow from Friday. In the second run we decided to stay a bit left from our previous ski tracks where we found less ice and more powder. We went up a third time and did a run right in between the previous runs. Such a great day, all day on the sun and without anybody around.
