MEC 7 Race, Half Marathon Oct 2019 PB
There is always a place for a PB, there is always a place to probe yourself, to push your limits, to fight your thoughts.. Over the past 14 weeks I have been joining some friends that are training for Toronto and New York full marathon races... and in doing so I have been able to learn how to run faster, how to push harder when your legs are tired, but more importantly sharing the same passion for running with a group of friends. A few weeks ago I did a 16k tempo with Curtis. He is normally faster in every workout and I am always behind by a few seconds. This day, Ken wasn't around and I found myself with Curtis alone ! So I knew what this was going to be a challenge for me to keep up at what he normally runs these tempos (3:50 min/pace).
