Almost at the top
I don't think it could get any better than this. Going up The Pulpit last week with Stephan, Andy, Nic and Sylvain was kind of the best day out there. The approach is between the trees, flat kind of trail all the way to Hector Lake. Crossing the Lake was nice and smooth. Then is the up !! climbing for a while until you hit the top of the bump, where you can watch really close the Pulpit.
We left Calgary early at around 6:30 am, roads were nasty with all the snow from the night before (which was good, because there was a lot of snow at top !!).

You this majestic view as you are approaching the top, very tempting to get out there and run in fresh powder, but as I learnt you have to be conscious and avoid temptation..

First run down !
This was my first run down, that is Andy on the picture showing off some tremendous skills.
I came down right after him not so smooth ::--))

We were able to go up 3 times, I had to save some energy for the way out and was trying to play smart and not get so crazy in paradise !!
Getting out after 4 hours was lots of fun, the north side will take you down all the way to the lake crossing, not without descending some crazy hills and going across the forest with some really sketchy turns, up and down with enough speed to keep momentum without wiping out!

Crossing Hector Lake
The Hector Lake was a bit fresh underneath, we could feel some spots with water, but overall was safe and easy to cross.
