Tent Ridge hike with the family, great first time ridge walk for all of them !!

Tent Ridge with The Fist at the back

What a day to get the family out and do the first ridge walk !! We have been discussing this for a few weeks and finally convinced Maria.. maybe because Jacky was coming she felt more comfortable. We left home at around 10am and were hiking by noon. Beautiful day with perfect temperature and awesome views.
The first 2-3 kms are up but easy in the trails.. then you start the ridge climb which has some sections that requires hands, kids were fine, Maria was a bit nervous.
At the top of the

first scramble we got to the antena and after a quick lunch we carried on to the Tent Ridge Summit. It is a steep hike, but not a scramble. We saw a helicopter rescuing a guy with a broken leg. The section from here on is a bit technical, but with limited exposure, great 360 degrees views, and then is all downhill to the car.
Our moving time was 3:46, but total 6 hours with the stops and lunch break. Overall was a great hike, challenging, great views, nice weather, awesome family outing once again !!
